Patrick and I have been married for three years now. I honestly cannot believe that we are married. I love him so much. "Happy anniversary." Patrick says, kissing me.
I kiss him back. "Happy three years of marriage. I love you Trick."
"I love you too." He kisses me back.
"I made a dinner reservation for us at six." I state.
"That sounds amazing. Where?" He asks.
"It's a surprise. I won't tell you." I stick my tongue out at him.
"I'm fine with that." He says.
"We have one interview today and some album release prep." I remind him.
"Yeah. We need to get going." He says, pulling away from me to get dressed.
"Yeah. Are you still happy?" I ask him as I get dressed.
"Of course I am. I married the guy who's my best friend and makes me feel special." He says as he grabs his wallet.
"I'm glad you think so. I'm happy too." I grab my wallet.
We head out for our interview. We're doing one at the radio station here in Chicago. I love supporting them.
"You alright?" He asks me as we get in the car.
"Yes. Petey, I'm perfectly fine. I love you. I love that we're putting out our ninth album." He states.
I turn on the radio as I drive. "Nine albums. I honestly cannot believe that we've been a band for twenty-six years."
"Yeah it is amazing. It still blows my mind that we've been doing this for that long." He states.
"It blows my mind too. I've been in love with you for that long. That love keeps growing." I say as I focus on driving to the studio. It's nice to be in a wonderful city like this.
Our interview goes really well. I love how much more confident Patrick is when it comes to talking during them. I'm proud of him for how far he's come. I know I'm part of why he has. I love him so much.
"You're staring." Patrick says as we leave our interview.
"Sorry. My husband is just gorgeous." I say.
"I know I am. Thank you." He states.
"You're welcome." I say.
"Sorry to interrupt but can I get a picture with you?" A young person asks us as they see us.
