It was time to go home for the gang. They were on the ship while waving goodbye to the lemurs.

"We'll meet up again soon!" Mariah said.

"Okay, bye-bye now. Bye-bye! See you later, crocodile." King Julian said as he waved back.
"Maurice! My arm is tired. Wave it for me. Faster, you naughty little monkey." King Julian said as he relaxed.
"You know, by the time we get back to New York, it's gonna be the middle of the winter. So I was just thinking, why rush? Maybe we could make a few side stops along the way." Alex explained.
"I guess, but where should we stop at?" Katie asked.
"Maybe Paris?" Marty asked.
"You just read my mind!" Gloria said happily.
"I was thinking, Spain. Run with the bulls." Alex said.
"I want to go to London." Katie said.
"What about Fiji?" Gloria asked.
"Or Italy?" Brandon asked.
"Cool! Canada, can we? Cheap meds." Melman said.
"You know, I wouldn't mind coming back here for a visit sometime." Alex said.
"Yeah, I can do that." Katie said.
"You can say that again." Brandon said.
Alex looked at Mariah , who was picking some pink flowers and smiles.
"Hey, guys. Can I have a talk with Mariah in private, please?" Alex whispered to the others, and they looked at Mariah as she was smelling the flowers.
"Sure, good luck." Marty said.
"Mmhm. Go get that girl." Gloria said.
Alex slowly walked up to Mariah and patted her shoulder to make her turn towards him.
"Can I talk to you inside?" Alex asked.
"Sure." Mariah answered.
Alex leads Mariah in the ship as he holds her hand.
"Did you really mean all of that? What you said there when I was out of control?" Alex asked.
"Yes, you were more to me. You were very special." Mariah said as she smiled.
"Well, I was feeling the same to you too." Alex said.
They blush more darkly. Their faces got closer to each other, and their lips touched together. They were having a long, gentle kiss as Alex put his arms around Mariah's waist, and Mariah put her hands at the sides of his head.
The others looked at them through the window without them noticing it.
"That's so sweet." Gloria said.
"They do make a cute couple together." Katie said.
"He's the king." Brandon said.
The lemurs kept on waving to the gang while the penguins were staying on the beach, getting a sun tan.
"Skipper, don't you think we should tell them that the boat's out of gas?" Private asked in worried, and the others looked at Skipper.
"Nah..., just smile and wave boys, smile and wave." Skipper said as the penguins waved at them. It was the end of the movie.
The ending credits show that King Julian sings the song "I Like to Move It" while dancing with the other characters. Alex, Mariah, Katie, Marty, Brandon, Gloria, Melman, Maurice, Mort, The Penguins, The Monkeys, People from New York, even The Old Lady.
