A/N: there's two songs, bags & my kind of woman. They both work for this chapter but my kind of woman is really only for the ending. Happy reading <3

I layered up all in her clothes, like she said. I wore a pair of her dark wash jeans and kept my own long sleeved shirt on but threw on a hoodie of hers and stole a scarf.

Her jeans were a little long on me but it was fine and I was off the ground just enough by my air force one shoes so they didn't drag.

I felt like I was overheating in all this. But I knew if we were spending time outside I'd be thanking her instead.

I came downstairs and she was waiting there biting her bottom lips.

"You look better in my clothes more  than I do." She said taking my hand to make me do a twirl.

I giggled before answering. "You think? Your jeans are long on me though."

"Oh definitely love. And they still look good." She took my hand and lead us out of the door.

I was right. She had put on her black jumper and somehow looked even better than before. She grabbed out coats and tossed them in the car before saying "wait there."

I was confused for a bit but she came to my side and opened my door for me.

I jumped in before saying thank you and had a moment to blush to myself before she got in too.

"Who knew you were a romantic?" I teased her.

"I can be a gentle woman or whatever when I need to be." She smiled.

"Where are we going?" I asked her as she started driving.

"Love, do you know how the element of a surprise works?" She countered

"Of course but I'm curious."

"Then you know that it means you have no idea what's happening with said surprise. But the drive is almost an hour out." She said placing her left arm on the console.

"So it's in the city?" I figured out quickly due to the distance.

"I won't say." She leaned over to kiss my cheek at the red light.

"You're infuriating." I huffed annoyed.

"Yet you still like me." She teased me and I couldn't help but smile back at her suddenly playful mood today.

She wasn't normally like this. She always seemed to have more composure and preferred to only offer me the small smile instead of a full one like she had today.

"Can I play music?" I asked.

"I don't see why not." She shrugged.

"Wait what kind of music do you like? I can't believe I never asked you." I said realising that this is the first time we've ever talked about music taste.

"I like a bit of most things, I guess Mac demarco's cool."

"Ive never heard of him a day in my life. I like a bit of everything too, I guess mainly because of how different all our music taste is but I love Lana del rey. And Ariana grande and Camilla cabello." I kept talking for what felt like forever naming different artists I liked to everyone I thought was so overrated and I even talked about the girls music taste.

I might have over talked a little.

"I'm sorry, I've been talking for a while." I said finally landing on the song bags by clairo.

It started playing before she could answer. "I don't mind listening to you talk about something you find interesting. In your case it's music." She smiled at me softly and my face was bright.
