I'm seriously the only person she lets in the kitchen with her? Fuck my cheeks are warm.

"Really?" I asked mixing everything together while Val began drying her hands.

"It's only because everyone else is messing and doesn't know how to move smoothly in a kitchen. It's annoying." She said firmly before kissing my cheek.

I'm definitely blushing now.

"Aunty Val!" A little brunette girl came running in.

"Oh the twins are here." Quinn said and I remained confused.

"Hi Nat." Val said as she hugged the girl.

"Look, mommy cut my hair. Do you like it?" She said turning around her head so she could see.

"I do like it. Where's your mommy actually?"

"Emilia needed the potty so there with mommy and mama." She said and I wanted to laugh but I held it in while I added the filling to a bag.

"It smells good in here what is it?" Vivian walked through the kitchen.

When they said everything barges in here, they really meant everyone.

"Okay, can everyone please take three large steps back and out of the kitchen. It's getting crowded." Val said.

"Like now, out." She added and even I backed off "No, no, not you darling. Everyone else out."

"Can I go play with Artemis?" Nat asked looking up at Val.

"Go on." Val said and everyone slowly left the kitchen and she was able to take the macaroons out of the oven.

"I'm sorry, they are a lot sometimes." She said apologising as she took the shells off the tray and flipped them over.

How is she not burning? surely they're hot. There steaming. Literally.

"It's okay. Quinn is...hyper." I said

"Yeah like Lottie and Rainnie. They are very hyper." She chuckled and I followed.

"How are you not burning?" I asked pointing to shells she was touching with her bare hands.

"Talent." She said with a smirk and dusted her hands once she was done while I giggled at her.

"Can I fill them now?" I asked.

"Yeah go ahead." She said and I started while she cleaned quickly and put things away.

After she was done she stood behind me and peppered kisses on my neck and cheeks while her hands laid on top of mine.

I was blushing already. And giggling a lot because it tickled.

We talked while we filled the macaroons together and set them aside once we finished. We started cleaning the last few things and Val dusted the flour off her and retied her hair up before we walked out to her deck with a fire place that was already lit. Macaroons in hand.

"Oh hey Letty." Lottie said to me.

I suddenly felt so shy. "Hi." I waved and Stella waved back. I sat down too with Val next to me.
