The residents looked up with wonder, completely oblivious that they had barely escaped the clutches of death, nor did they notice their saviour, plunging lifelessly through the clouds.

Moments later, they reached the city centre, only to be shocked when they saw that a large tree root had seemingly sprouted from the ground, stretching almost as high as the surrounding buildings.
