I have a fun Easter one shot idea brewing, but I'm not posting it until Easter, so hopefully these one shots I post between today and Easter will be good enough appetizers.

-Reader's P.O.V.-
I came into the house to hear the living room TV playing. I cocked an eyebrow. I went into the living room to see Sonic laying on the couch. He looked at me over the back of the couch and smiled.
"Hey, cutie," he said.
"Rare lazy day?" I assumed.
"Yep. I did go running, though," he replied. "Egg-head's finally giving me a break." He sat up as I came around the couch. He made grabby hands at me. "C'mere. I can easily tell you had a long day."
I giggled softly at the gesture. "Let me shower first then you can cuddle me to death."
He smiled happily. "Heck yeah."

I came back into the living room, clean and dressed in a tank top and pajama shorts.
Sonic smiled at my presence. "There she is." He made grabby hands again. "Now, c'mere so I can cuddle you to death."
I lied down on my stomach in between his legs. My head rested on his chest. He kissed my damp hair. His arms embraced me. I clung to him.
"Better?" he asked while beginning to rub my back under my shirt.
"A lot," I replied. "What's the plan for dinner?"
"What do you want?" he asked.
"Chili dogs," I replied, "but I don't wanna cook."
"Easy," the blue hedgehog chirped. "I'll cook 'em. When do you wanna eat?"
"Mmm. In an hour or so," I said.
"Perfect," he smiled. "But for now, I gotta cuddle you up." He gave my form an affectionate squeeze, which got me to giggle. "I love you so much, (Y/N)."
I lifted my head and kissed his nose. "I love you too, Sonic." My head settled back down on his chest.
"Think Eggman's gonna ruin this?"
"If he does, I'll knock him into next week myself."
