After the unexpected transportation of the United States, it didn't take long for everyone to realize that something was amiss. What was meant to be a frigid night had inexplicably transformed into an eerie cascade of unfamiliar sunlight. Subsequently, foreign travel was abruptly banned, and the government remained tight-lipped, attempting to delay the inevitable while gathering more information about the current predicament.
However, the delay proved ineffective, plunging the entire nation into a state of chaos and turmoil. President Gordon, in office for just three years, faced a challenge unlike any he had encountered before. It was now his responsibility to prevent the nation from falling apart.
With the abrupt relocation of the United States, the nation descended into chaos. Panic spread, churches declared it the end of the world, and the media painted a picture of cataclysmic events. Martial Law was declared, putting the National Guard and other military branches on high alert to maintain order. Amidst the turmoil, President Gordon stood alone, his expression firm. He adjusted his suit and brushed his hair before stepping outside the White House to address the media.
President Gordon surveyed the silent crowd. "My fellow Americans, as we stand at the crossroads of an unprecedented moment in the history of our beloved nation - the land of the free and the home of the brave - we must acknowledge the challenges thrust upon us. The ties with our allies on Earth have been severed, and the resilience of our great nation will be put to the test. In this newfound world, let us not only confront adversity but also seize the opportunity to redefine our role and significance on this uncharted journey.
As your President, I stand before you with a solemn pledge. It is my unwavering commitment to ensure the safety and well-being of every American life. Together, we embark on a journey into the unknown, united in our determination to overcome obstacles, preserve our ideals, and emerge stronger. Let the spirit of freedom and bravery that defines our nation guide us through these challenging times. United we stand, resolute in the face of uncertainty, ready to shape our destiny in this uncharted terrain. Thank you, and may we face this new chapter with strength, unity, and an unyielding spirit." After a brief pause, he met the eyes of the watching nation. A burst of applause erupted, a testament to the calming effect of his words. President Gordon smiled warmly, waving as he made his way back to his office, leaving a reassured nation in his wake.

Hey guys, it's been a while, I'd like to apologize for not updating the story in a while, I haven't been able to have the time to face this story in recent times, although currently this evening as I'm currently writing this note, I've just had enough free time and motivation to write this short chapter, this chapter is canon btw.
