Failure after failure
Disappointment I endured
Stiffled hiccups
Tears I dry in blinks
Criticism pulling
Down the corner of my mouth
I put the effort
Put the passion
Used my knowledge
Planned my venture
Nevertheless,
I was not enough
It was not the best
Just actually became
At the bottom
Of the list
I tried and tried
Searched for
Whatever I find
Still lost though
I tried hard
Then I noticed
For all of the losses
It was not the outside
It was not their fault
It was me
Something was wrong
Inside myself
I could not
See it but
It was there
A part was missing
The reason why
The world saw me as
A half-assed being
It was beacause
I was lacking
Of something
I do not know
Yet after knowing
That something was wrong
With my own
It still isn't
Within the scope
Of my vision
But a day that passes
I creep nearer
To that thing that
I was lacking
A wish
I don't forget
For I need it
To live
To strive for that
Little success
I long for.
