FORGETTING MYSELF

I was a child I remember,
Play all day, no pressure,
Then I became older,
They said "Behave a little proper!"

My innocence,
I don't know where it went,
For everyday I was in a trance,
Only living to vent.

I was dizzy of that almost insanity,
Then I learned to hide it properly,
Felt like my soul wanted to escape my body,
I was starting to forget suddenly.

Forgetting this chaos,
I wished for it in the past,
Now I am at loss,
Time travel's too fast.
