TO MY ACQUIANTANCE IN PASSING

I met you at that bench
Sat in silence.

Didn't know you could sketch,
I was entranced.

Feet on the snow was drenched,
But couldn't bear to leave.

For you were so warm,
My frozen heart melted.

So I just smiled,
My hands tightly clenched.

Your gentle eyes,
Brought sensations I couldn't recognize.

Your charming smiles,
Brought feelings I couldn't understand.

So sad it had to end,
We both had lives to attend.

Oh, if only that day could last forever,
It would've been the best blessing.

Unfortunately, our fate of meeting each other,
Was only destined to be acquiantances in passing.
