23. Stupid Grass Ninja

We where on our way to the tower when I heard a scream. "Sakura!" I yelled. "Go on without me! I'll meet you at the tower!" They nodded and went on.

I followed the scream and arrived at the scene to see Sakura and Sasuke sitting on the ground in front of the grass ninja from before. Sakura was trembling while Sasuke stared wide eyed. "Hey grass nin!"

He looked up at me and licked his lips. "I was wondering when you would come." Her voice hissed like a snakes and sent chills down my spine. "Don't touch them." I growled at her, standing defensively in front of the two.

"Where the heck is Naruto?" I whispered to Sasuke and Sakura.
"We don't know..." Sasuke replied. Suddenly a scene flashed before my eyes. I watched as I....died. I screamed and fell to my knees, hugging myself.

"Kiamie it's not real!" Sasuke yelled to me. The scene faded away and I began to breathe heavily, my eyes wide.

"Now your paralyzed with fear, just like your teammates." She chuckled.
I slowly managed to stand up, my legs shaking. I saw that Sasuke was trying to move, but his body wouldn't cooperate.

She licked her lips and I pulled out a kunai, my body still hesitant to move. Just then Sasuke slowly pulled out a kunai and stood up next to me. "Very good....Now what happens?" I saw Sasuke's eyes grow wide with fear.

Just like that our bodies stiffened and he couldn't move.

"Dammit Grass Nin!" I shouted as she walked over to us.

"Don't worry. I'll make it quick." She pulled out three kunai. "I was expecting more of a fight from you. Such a shame." With a flick of the wrist she sent the kunai flying towards us.

Blood splattered in front of us and before I knew it all three of us where hidden behind a tree. Sasuke had a kunai lodged in his leg. "Sasuke!" I whispered. He was breathing heavily while staring at the kunai. He shut his eyes tightly and pulled the kunai out.

Sakura stared at him with a worried expression. Sakura was about to speak when Sasuke covered her mouth with his hand. I sensed her nearby. Sasuke nodded at me, and I nodded back. We needed to get outta here.

Sasuke turned and watched behind the tree. While he was doing that, a huge snake appeared on our other side.

"Sasuke, there's a huge snake behind you." I said quietly, trying to be calm. The snake tried to swallow us but we jumped out of the way causing it to get a mouthful of tree. The snakes target was obviously Sasuke, seems how it went after him.

He threw kunai at its face, killing it. We all watched in horror as the grass ninja crawled out of the snakes dead body. I nearly threw up.

"That is disgusting." I mumbled. He then smirked at me and slithered towards me super fast.

"No!!" I shrieked as he was a few feet away from me. Suddenly kunai flew at him from out of nowhere, stopping him dead in his tracks. My heart was racing as I looked up to see my rescuer.

"Looks like I arrived just in time!" I smiled. "Naruto!" He was standing on a branch above us, arms crossed and smirking.

"Naruto get out of here!" I sweat dropped. "Sasuke you idiot! We are not sending our only reinforcement away you retard!" Sometimes Sasuke was really stupid, like now.

Then Naruto started yelling at the grass ninja about picking on his friends.

"Your especially not allowed to pick on Kiamie-chan!" I smiled. It went quiet suddenly.

"You can have it!" We all stared at Sasuke confused. He pulled there scroll out of his ninja pouch.

"You want it right? Well take it!" Naruto, Sakura, and I stared at him, shocked. The grass ninja smirked. Sasuke threw the scroll towards the ninja, but Naruto jumped down and caught it before the grass ninja could even touch it.

Sasuke was yelling at Naruto when Naruto shocked us all. He punched Sasuke. He began to talk about stupid stuff, so I didn't pay attention. Poor Nari and Seiko.... They were probably worried sick.

I need to stay with these guys and help them against this freaking grass ninja who was getting on my nerves. I looked back at the ninja and saw her lift her sleeve up revealing a tattoo sorta thing.

Then she summoned a huge freaking snake. It sent Naruto flying through trees. He was falling down to the snakes mouth, and that's when I saw his eyes. It's the Nine Tails.

He then fell down and landed on a tree. He laid there for a second. Suddenly the Snake went after Sasuke, but Naruto stopped it dead in it's tracks.

Then the grass ninja grabbed Naruto with his tongue and pulled him closer to her. Her fingers went blue and she slammed them into Naruto's seal. I quickly jumped down and sliced her tongue, grabbing Naruto and taking him to a tree branch.

I laid him down on the branch and did a hand sign.

My hands glowed green and I put them on his seal. I had learned the basics of heal jutsu with my mom who specializes in them. I felt a pulse and stood up and looked at Sasuke and Sakura.

Sasuke had activated sharingan and was staring down the grass ninja. The fight was on now.
