Fallen Angel

1. Before

It was a hot summer day in the village, and my mother had taken me for a walk down the dirt roads of Konoha.
"Come on Kiamie, we don't wanna be late!" She said cheerfully. I smiled and took her hand.

I was six years old, and would be starting school next week at the Ninja Academy. My name is Kiamie Yorashiga, member of the Yorashiga clan. We lived in Konoha, also known as the Hidden Leaf Village, located in the Land of Fire.

I was very advanced for my age, mostly because of my father. He believes that knowledge is power, and I agree with him. I know almost everything about the village, even things that most grown up don't know.

As we were walking down the road into town, I saw a boy about my age with an older boy who looked very similar to him. I noticed they had Uchiha symbols on their shirts.

"Hello Itachi, Sasuke! This is Kiamie."
I hid behind my mothers leg, looking up at them.

"H-hello." I said. The younger boy waved to me while the older boy smiled. "Shy, isn't she?" My mother laughed and nodded. As they walked down the path away from us, I noticed  the boy around my age keep on turning around and smiling at me.

As soon as they were out of sight I looked up at my mother. "Momma, were those boys Uchiha's?" She nodded and smiled. "Yes they were. The older one was Itachi, and the younger one was Sasuke. Sasuke is your age." I nodded and smiled. Maybe he was nice.

We walked to the park, where I saw my father talking to these people. I noticed they were the only ones here. Just then I saw two girls playing in the sand box. One of them had bright blue hair, the other long blonde pigtails. My mother walked me over to my father.

"It's so nice to finally meet you Kiamie! Your mother and I are great friends, and she's told me a lot about you!" I smiled. The lady who was talking to me had dark grey eyes, blue hair, and wore a dress that went to her knees. She had a sun hat on and was standing next to a man, which I guessed was her husband. He had brown hair and red eyes, and he wore a green shirt with black shorts.

He waved at me and I stepped behind my moms leg again. I didn't like talking to people I didn't know.

"She's shy? I wonder who she got that from." I looked over to see another woman with Light brown hair and blue eyes, with her hair in a long ponytail. She was smiling at me, and she sounded calm when she talked. Next to her was a man with blonde hair and brown eyes.

"Seiko is anything but shy! She's always babbling about something." The grown ups laughed.

"Nari isn't shy, she just doesn't talk very much." I looked over at the two girls playing in the sandbox. My mother nudged me.

"You can go play with them if you want." I nodded and walked over to them.

"H-hello.." I said shyly. The girl with the long blonde pigtails looked up at me and smiled.

"Hi. I'm Nari. The weird one with the blue hair is Seiko." Seiko quickly turned around and shot Nari a glare.

"I'm not weird! Everyone else is weird! I'm just normal.." I giggled and Seiko looked at me. "I'm Seiko Tasume! From this day forward you are going to be my daughter, alright?" I nodded and she smiled. "You can help us build a sandcastle!"

We ended up making separate castles, then pretended to be at war with each other. We were halfway into battle when my mother called my name.

"Kiamie, it's time to go!" I hugged my new friends and waved goodbye.
"Momma, when can we come back?"
She laughed and took my hand. My father took my other hand.

"Their going to be enrolling in the academy with you." I smiled and giggled when my parents started to swing me between them. I can't wait till school starts.
