A chance meeting with Lando Norris turns into a magical weekend but is it all too good to be true?
Ellis and Emily ran for 30 minutes along the beach path before heading back to the hotel to get ready for the GP. She felt instantly better for being out in the sunshine and they started to talk about the race. Normally both girls were Ferrari fans but both agreed they had to support the papaya today.
Back in the room, Ellis jumped straight in the shower before Emily. She wanted to look her best, just in case she bumped into Lando. She got a flutter in her stomach every time she thought about lying on his chest last night, hearing the beating of his heart and his steady breath lulled her into a deep sleep. She picked up her phone and her stomach flipped.

The girls got to the track and found the marina grandstands. Their seats weren't the best, pretty high up and right at the side but they didn't care. Ellis was so happy to be at a race she would have sat anywhere.

Charlotte knocked on Lando's door, "it's time to get in the car" she said. He looked at himself in the mirror, stomach in knots. His anxiety was pretty high today, there was so much pressure from the team and media, to start performing better in the car. A quick splash of water on his face and he checked his phone. Ellis wanted to see him later, that made his stomach settle slightly and he smiled as he opened the door. It was go time.
Practice went by quickly. He ended up 16th, the car still wasn't where it needed to be and he was frustrated. He went into the debrief with the team so they could discuss strategy for FP2 later that evening. He repeatedly glanced at Ellis' picture, it made him smile. After the meeting, him and Oscar and some of the engineers went to get some food. After the 100th time checking his phone, he saw a message pop up on the screen.
