Darien's POV

Graduation was coming up on Saturday and I had three days, three days to execute my final few plans to propose to Keturah Anderson.

The twins and her best friends had been of great help to me making things much easier for me. I had to make sure everything was perfect; every little detail put in place.

K has been hinting that she wanted a vacay which I thought was a great idea since she'd been busting her butt off at work and she deserved one as well. So I thought it'd be great -as we've been talking about it- to fly there if everything turned out well.

I picked out Ghana to be the perfect place to enjoy our time as newly engaged for a couple of weeks because she'd been eating my ears off about visiting her homeland.

She'd been asking that we visit to see where her parents came from and, from what I've searched so far, the place was on the list for their history and hospitality.

If anyone had told me that this was what would be happening when I first stepped on campus four years ago, I'd never believe them.

It just felt great and I was content. I felt satisfactory, that my life was really complete now. All I needed was for her to say yes. I really hoped she would cause I've also been dropping hints. Letting her know she'd be the gorgeous bride if any other was tying the knot on that same day as well.

Deliberately letting her go through my phone to see how I re-saved her name to wifey, to letting her know how great she'd be to our children when we have them.

K was pretty oblivious sometimes giving me the upper hand in putting things into action but fingers crossed for her to say yes.

But the first execution of plan 1 was in three days at our grad party. It would be a small gathering of my parents and hers as well as our close friends at De Monc. The  very first place we had our first official date.

Her mom; Macy and mine had already prepped the villa thanks to my dad for Saturday. I just needed some few props to finish everything. The ring was also secured as well; K was obsessed with rose gold and I planned for one to be made in that type.

My girlfriend was graduating with honors which wasn't a surprise because everyone from her group sessions on campus knew K was on that list. The day the results were released, K and I had a sleepover to check our grades. It wasn't the sleepover I was expecting but we pulled it off anyway.

It started with a fight.

A silly one actually. K loved her things in order. You could even tell from the way she parts her hair when styling or braiding it. Always parted sectionally into boxes and in details.

Her tissues and handkerchiefs were no different. So when she came over and realized that I'd not had things in place that made us quarrel. But what couple didn't suffer same?

Every couple had their fights and ours was dealt with at that very moment. As she always says a relationship without communication is futile.

After screaming her lungs out when she saw her class, it just clicked at that moment, that I wanted to continue spending the rest of my life with her. So what better day than to propose on one of the most happiest days of her life, making it memorable.

Macy thankfully gave me her blessing two weeks ago when I asked for K's hand in marriage.

But right now, I was gloating in these new apparels trying out some few three piece suits my assistant brought in with the twins. Would it be too cheesy if I matched with K?

I would love to do that, maybe show her off as well but my idea seemed to be hellacious to my friends and they were still gagging throwing their hands in the air calling me corny.
