No one's heard from Hailey since she left the hospital, they got a really important case and got all caught up. They didn't even know that she had been discharged

------------------Will Halsteads POV------------------
I've had the last two days off, and when I got into the Ed I was surprised to see that Hailey wasn't there anymore, I asked the nurse and she said she had been discharged after I left on Wednesday. "Oh ok, who picked her up and drove her?" I asked in curiosity

"Umm this here says no one she signed the papers and left"

I went and talked to my friend, who does the hospital security and he looked through the footage and said she left in a Uber.

So I called the house phone number that I knew they had in their bedroom, and the apartment wasn't that big she should hear it, I guess she could be at work, so just to make sure shes ok, because I know she had to get struggling.

"Hello? This is will halstead, is Hailey there she's not answering her phone" I said

"Uh no, wait, she's still in the hospital isn't she?" Kevin asked

"No, she got discharged 3 days ago, and from what it seems no one's heard from her"

I could hear someone talking to him in the background

"Sorry man, I gotta go, big case just came in, but I'll run by her place once Voight releases us, but fair warning it might be a while"

"Alright good luck, I'll just go by after shift and check on her" I said

God i though , I've failed mabye if we aren't busy Sharon will let me go check on her quick, but as I was walking out of the break room, Maggie yelled for me and my pager started going off, we had 14 people coming in from a train de railing possible more

----------------8 hours later------------------
I finally got off shift after a jam packed 8 hours of the Ed just bustling, after the train de railing, there was a major car crash and it was just never ending

I walked out to my car and tried calling Hailey again, but as expected she didn't answer.

As I pulled up, I found the spare key, Jay had given me for just in case and started heading up the stairs

I knocked on the door and no answer and I couldn't hear anyone inside, so I used my key, seriously hoping she was in the shower or something and just couldn't hear me, or really just that she was here and safe.

There were beer bottles shattered on the floor, which i don't know if they are from Jay or Hailey.

I knocked on the bedroom door, and no answer

So I opened it and went in holding my breath hoping she would be there

To my relief she was, but it did not look pretty "Hailey, wake up"

She rolled over and instantly started crying and having an attack of some sort. She was crying and kicking and covering her face with her arms while yelling "please dont hurt me" in the most pitiful voice

This makes me so sad, and angry at the same time. Because this is not the Hailey I know, I've known her since we were kids, me and Jay both have, and even with her dad abusing her she was always so happy and bubbly, at first when I met her she was guarded, she had her walls up, but she soon started to spend a lot of time at our house so, she grew comfortable and I knew and loved her like a sister, of course I don't know her as well as Jay does, but I can still tell when she's upset but trying to hide it or if she's scares, or nervous.

"Hailey, it's ok, I'm not going to hurt you, you're safe, it me will"

She sat up and quit crying she just looked up at me and then looked down and stared at her lap obviously just trying to avoid eye contact.

"Hailey are you ok? No one's heard from you and you're not answering the phone" I said sitting down on the foot of the bed

She flinched slightly but them relaxed

"I'm fine" she said

"Really, because you don't look it"

"I said I'm fine, and I'm going back to work tomorrow, the doctors cleared me" she said stubbornly

"Ok, Hailey I'm not here to attack you, I'm just here to try and help"

"When's Jay coming back?" She asked looking up

"I don't know, we can't get ahold of him, they didn't let him bring his phone this time, so we have to contact him through his commander, but the commander doesn't care"

"Although, if you called him, and make the commander aware you are his wife, it might change something"

"Really? You think?"

"Yeah I do"

"Can I use your phone to call, Booth destroyed mine" she said quietly looking up at me

"Yeah of course" I said unlocking it and handing it to her

"The numbers right there saved as commander reyes" I said

She nodded and took a deep breath before hitting the call button

"Seargent Reyes"

"Yes, this is Hailey Halstead, couod you please put my husband Jay Halstead on the phone I would very much like to speak to him"

"No, I can't he has already had a lot of personal phone calls and has asked not to be bothered anymore"

Now will was listening, and could hear everything that was said, and when Hailey heard this she threw the phone on the bed and left crying

"Hello?"

"Like hell he said that" I told the commander

"I don't know who you are, but I have given you my answer please don't waste my time anymore" the commander said before hanging up
