One hundred years ago.....
All of humanity fought in a great war. They couldn't agree on anything. After so much death and destruction, the elders decided that the only way to fix humanity was to separate humans into groups. The gods saw this and blessed the elders with immortality and gave all humans born after the war, an ability and a destiny.
The elders separated humanity into four factions. The Light, The Dark, The Honest,and The Waywards. And one great land in the middle called the Peace Land. All children will go to school and interact there till their sixteenth birthday. On that day, the gods will give them their ability and destiny. Some great some not. Things hang in a fragile balance, and one day, a young Wayward shatters it....
