Dear Diary,
We've been on the boat 6 days now, and I'm a bit worried about food. I thought we'd stop at Vergisk to trade, like Da always does, but we haven't. It's hard to tell from the hold, but I think the wind is low, and may have stopped yesterday.
At least Sseschni is doing well, from what I can tell. Mice seem to agree with her.
There are some food barrels here I could try raiding if it gets too bad, but they're more likely to notice me if I do. The men open up the panels in the deck sometimes to get the food and sleeping furs. I stay away from that part, amid the trading furs and bolts of wool wrapped in oilskins.
