I watched as you walked down the hall,
All the way until your head
Disappeared down the stairs.
You took out your phone for a sec,
And then put it away,
I watched,
And you never looked back to see me,
Leaned against the door frame.
You never looked back...I wonder if you heard my door finally close,
Or if you were too far.
I wonder if you thought about how
You didn't hear it lock right away,
On the drive home.
But you never looked back,
And I doubt you thought about me at all.
