What is loss?
It has more meaning than the four
Letters it has

I suppose that loss can be anything
A loss of a gold metal
that you were sure to win at that race
A loss of a bet that you have to pay up

Or maybe a loss of someone you love

That loss seems to hurt more.
More than losing that one hundred
Or that shiny metal

You won't get to see their smile
Or laugh
Or listen to their voice
When they are right beside you

A loss you just won't accept
That no one really does
