Bath

Sometimes I sit
In the tub
After all the water drains
Exposed
Cold
As I feel the water drain
Pulling me down
I almost feel weightless
Or perhaps
Like I might flow down with
The rest of the water
But bathtubs
Always have that little
Circle of metal
I feel weightless
And then I see my reflection
And I'm sitting
Cold
Alone
In an empty bathtub
I see my reflection...

I should have just gotten out while
The water drained...
