Running and napping

Start from the beginning

Sky: I actually fell because you were in my way! If you hadn't been standing there, I wouldn't have fell!

Dean: Quit yelling. I'm only gonna say it once. You are not gonna be running in the house. If you wanna run, you can go outside and run out there. If I catch you running in the house again, I'm gonna spank you.

Sky: You already did spank me.

Dean: Then that should tell you that I'm not kidding. If you don't want another spanking, quit running in the house.

Sky: You're so mean to me! She yells as she's walking away.

Dean: Yeah. I'm so mean for not wanting you to hurt yourself. I say with a sarcastic tone.

I hear her bedroom door slam, and decide to leave her alone for a little while. She's probably gonna call Sam, and tell him an exaggerated version of what happened, and then he's gonna call me, thinking that there's more to what actually happened. I go to the kitchen to get a beer, and then head back to the living room. On my way to the living room, I hear snoring, coming from Sam's room. I know it's not Sam. He's not here, and he won't be here for about another week. I peek through the door and see Sky, fast asleep in his bed, wearing one of his sweaters. She makes it clear that she sees Sam like a Dad. She doesn't know how to handle him not being here, right now. In this moment, I'm gonna do what any parent would do. I'm gonna take a picture, and send it to Sam, then I'm gonna close the door and let Sky sleep.

Dean: He's gonna love this. I say while taking the picture of Sky.

I close the door, and quietly make my way to the living room. I sit on the couch and put the TV on a random channel.

Sam: Is she in my sweater? He texts me, replying to the picture of Sky.

Dean: I think she misses you.

Him not being here is actually really hard for her. She's never spent much time away from either of us, and now one of us is gone for a hunt. That's hard for her, and she's doesn't know how to handle it.

Sam: I know she does. She's been telling me for days. She called me, a little while ago. She sounded upset, so I told her to go take a nap. She wouldn't tell me why she was upset, so I just assumed that she was tired.

Dean: She was mad at me, because I told her not to run in the house.

Sam: Is that all?

Have you met her? No, that's not all.

Dean: No. When she did it anyway, and ignored my warnings, I spanked her, and she went to her room.

Sam: She'll be alright. She's just gonna be mad for a little while.

Dean: Yeah. A nap might've been all she needed, though. You know how she gets when she's tired.
