Viaanshi's POV:

As I stood in the middle of the living room, surveying the chaos that had unfolded, I couldn't help but feel a twinge of amusement. The sheer volume of grocery bags strewn about was both comical and endearing, a testament to Shrey's determination to make amends.

I turned to face him, schooling my features into a mask of stern disapproval, though the mischievous glint in my eyes betrayed my true emotions.

"What on earth have you done, Shrey?" I demanded, my voice laced with exaggerated exasperation.

Shrey stood before me, his shoulders slumped and his expression a mix of contrition and confusion.

"I was just trying to buy the groceries you asked for," he mumbled, his gaze shifting nervously from the bags to my face.

I couldn't resist the urge to tease him a bit further.

"And what, exactly, did you think you were buying?" I asked, folding my arms across my chest.

"The entire store?"

He opened his mouth, then closed it again, his brow furrowed in a way that was both endearing and comical.

"I, uh, I wanted to make sure we had everything we needed," he finally managed, wincing slightly at the weakness of his own explanation.

I had to bite the inside of my cheek to keep from laughing out loud.

"Everything we needed?" I repeated, my tone dripping with skepticism.

"Shrey, I asked you to buy groceries, not stock our home for the next decade."

He shifted uncomfortably, his gaze downcast.

"I know, I know," he sighed. "I just...I wanted to do a good job, to show you that I could handle this. But I got a bit carried away, and now..."

He trailed off, gesturing helplessly at the sea of bags surrounding us. I couldn't hold back any longer; a giggle escaped my lips, and soon I was doubled over, my laughter filling the room.

Shreyansh stared at me, his eyes wide with confusion and a hint of hurt.

"Aanshi?" he questioned, his voice uncertain. "I don't understand. Aren't you angry with me?"

I straightened up, wiping the tears of mirth from my eyes.

"Oh, Shrey," I sighed, a fond smile playing on my lips. "How could I be angry with you when you've gone to such lengths to make it up to me?"

His brow furrowed, and I could see the gears turning in his mind as he tried to make sense of my reaction.

"But I thought..." he began, only to be cut off by another burst of laughter from me.
