- I think being the oldest sibling might be the worst curse anyone could get, not that I'm being dramatic, just realistic.

" Ok, so we went throw out of this list, " Kiri said holding the list with the test the comp will have, " And? at how many were going to win " Lo'ak added annoyed from his bed, " Zero, actually maybe the aim test, Neteyam sure is more experienced there than anyone in this village, " Kiri said, as I gave her a brushed face.

" I'm not the best, " I said, " Yeah, that's why you trained to aim Lo'ak when he was five, back home " Kiri answered, " Wait What, " Lo'ak said getting up from his bed

" Long story, not necessary " I added quickly.

" I'm going out," I said after some time, Lo'ak had complained about whatever with Kiri, " Where? " Kiri said, " I have something to do, I'll be back for lunch " I added

" Calm down, Kiri, it's not like he's going to see his girlfriend " I frowned.

" Wow, Lo'ak so smart answer," Kiri said, " I know, his love life is zero " Lo'ak added again, in a silly tone

" Says you, " I said, he made a Pikachu shocked face at me, " I am so heartbroken right now, how could you bro! " he said, I raised my shoulders, " Skill issue, baby bro," I said, as I took my bag and went outside.

I knocked at the door, and I heard a few steps after a short time, " WHA- " he stopped his sentence, as he shook his head confused.

"What do you want. " he continued his sentence, yet changed his tone, " I wanted to say thank you," I said, he closed the door behind him.

" For what. " he said, frowning at me, " For the thing you did yesterday, with those guys," I said clearly, holding my bag rope because it was too lose and would fall too quickly from my shoulder

" Oh that, Don't feel special, Freak, I did it so I won't be in trouble with my Father " he added, crossing his arms to his chest, " Alright," I said.

" Alright? " he repeated after I turned around so I could leave, " Yeah- what else do you want me to say? " I said turning back at him, " I don't know, I expected more, " He said in a high tone, confident tone, I could say

" Well, you just said you didn't do it to help me? so "I added but before I could continue, he interrupted me, " Well, yeah, but I don't get the thanks, anyway? " he said, 

I tilted my head, I think he was drunk. " Have you been- drinking something? " I said trying not to look weird, " No, why do you ask. " he said laying a bit in front so he could look at me with suspicious eyes, " Just asking," I said

" Very well, um, are you ready for the competition? " he asked, was he trying to make a conversation with me? " Kind of " I answered not thinking too much about it 

" Mhm, good," he said, I was already feeling awkward, " yeah, see you there " I added trying to leave this conversation more politely, " Yeah, I'm curious how your riding has been going " he added, as I gulped a bit down my throat, I forgot about that.

" Yeah...me too," I said, avoiding any eye contact, He took a second, yet looked at me while he stopped in place, " Have you- right? " he said, as I looked back at him, " Hm- "I answered yet didn't finish, " Have you continued the riding lesson with Tsireya after, right? " he said again.

" Of course," I said, in my direct, deep, voice. 

" Ok..., then race me," he said, I looked a bit shocked as I cleared my throat, " I can't," I said as I made eye contact with him, " Why not " he looked down at me, " I have things to do," I said, trying to back away slowly, as he came closer then he was before, " Well, I'm sure we can have one tonight then, " he added, I frowned, " Why? we can't risk letting someone see you with a freak " I added, he went silent.
