So much that goes,
goes through in the span of a minute.
All the highs and lows:
One remorseful thought, only if I let them.

Knuckles tighten in a shade of white,
my motives all made me wonder.
Jaw clenches with a brutal urge to fight,
my madness beyond the border.

Manmade scenarios that never happened,
a quiet thumb war, reality and sanity.
Won't let my mind wreck havoc,
tonight I become a better me.

Undo these sensations with the care,
like the petals of a rose.
Redo the script bare,
brand new seeds I sow.
