One door closes underneath a starry sky,
moonlight reflects on my tears
whom with time have already begun to dry.
Was it a waste, these two loving years?

When two souls choose resentment,
that is because there is an idea for the reject.
The idea of why they fell or befriended
only to push the button, causing both to eject.

He kept puckering his mouth, biting his lips,
holding the waterworks, asking how is it fair
to say goodbye as the chapter zips,
closing our story, for the next tale we prepare.

The end credits where the hero walks with fragments,
memories from the person once real,
now a visual of what was an ever after
to this never ending story which he now has to heal.
