Jade walked up the train till she found the compartment that contained her friends. "They're you are J we thought you missed the train"Toni huffed pulling Jade into the seat next to her, Toni was sitting at the window while Cassie sat opposite her with Reed in her lap.

"Nah I was just trying to get info from my mum and useless brothers"Jade explained taking off her robes and getting comfy.

"About the tournament?"Reed asked from his spot in Cassie's lap. This perked her interest, "the what?"

" The Triwizard Tournament was first established some seven hundred years ago as a friendly competition between the three largest European schools of wizardry: Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, and Durmstrang."He started as if reading it from a book

"A champion was selected to represent each school, and the three champions competed in three magical tasks. The schools took it in turns to host the tournament once every five years, and it was generally agreed to be a most excellent way of establishing ties between young witches and wizards of different nationalities - until, that is, the death toll mounted so high that the tournament was discontinued"

"And how the fuck do you know this?"Jade laughed slightly, kind of impressed.

"My dads helping organise it"he shrugged. "Speaking of your dad, Fred and George aren't happy with him"she added so when the twins came by later asking her to talk to Reed she could say she did.

"Nobody is, that's why I stayed with mum for the rest of the summer"he rolled his eyes.

"Ash babe you should've told me you could've stayed at mine."Cassie sighed, momentarily pausing from stroking his hair.

Toni made a gag sound, "I've had enough your your disgusting couple stuff for right now I don't think I would've survived the summer."

"Now, we're settled in and sorted, I'd like to make an announcement," Dumbledore says, "This castle will not only be your home this year, but home to some very special guests, as well. You see, Hogwarts has been chosen..." Dumbledore gets interrupted as Filch jogging down the tables. His knees high.

Toni and Jade stifle a laugh at the sight. Filch and Dumbledore whisper to each other before he took off jogging again, "So... Hogwarts has been chosen to host a legendary event, the Triwizard Tournament. For those of you who do not know, the Tournament brings together three schools, for a series of magical contests. From each school, a single student is selected to compete. Let me be clear. If chosen, you stand alone. And trust me when I say, these contest are not for the faint hearted. But more on that later."

"For now, please join me in welcoming the lovely ladies of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic." The doors open revealing girls in blue dresses and hats, they walk in gracefully and sigh dreamily as they spread their hands out before them.

The breath was taken from Jades lungs. They were gorgeous.

They took a seat at the Ravenclaw table as their head mistress greeted Dumbledore and sat at the staff table next to Hagrid. And surprisingly she was taller than him.

The boys in the hall begin to cheer and whistles, "Our friends from the North! Please greet the proud sons of Drumstrang and their high master, Igor Krakaroff."

They walk in while hitting their staffs against the floor, they hold them out in front of them and spin them around performing tricks.

They stop half way down the tables, the leader of the group directly beside Jade and her friends. He looks over at her in the corner of his eye and offers a small smile, making her smile politely back at him.

He places his staff down and sprints off performing flips and tricks at the front as the headmaster and Victor
Krum walk in, "Blimey, it's him. It's Victor Krum."

The boy from the front kneels down and breaths fire which forms a bird before dying out. He catches Jade's eye again and winks, she smiles back at him politely and Reed raises a brow at her, "I think our J has got a crush."

"Haha No!" She says pushing him away, if only he knew she thought to herself "Your attention, please!"

"I would like to say a few words. Eternal glory- that is what awaits the student who wins the Triwizard Tournament. But to do this, that student must survive three tasks, three extremely dangerous tasks."

"Wicked." The twins say at the same time.

"For this reason, the Ministry has seen fit to impose a new rule. To explain all this, the head of the Department of International Magical Cooperation, Mr. Bartimus Crouch."

The thunder ceiling roars loudly as lightening lights up the hall, a light shoots up at the ceiling taming the raging storm, "Oh my Godric, that's Mad-eye Moody." Toni says in awe.

"Here she goes," Reed mutters to Jade, "Oh, I want to be an auror." He said as he playfully nudged her making his voice higher.

They watch as he walks forward and his eye zoom sin on a few people as he walks towards Dumbledore and shakes his hand, "Stupid ceiling." He mutters as he takes a step back.

Crouch steps forward and clears his throat, "After due consideration, the Ministry has concluded that, for their own safety, no student under the age of seventeen shall be allowed to put forward their name for the Tournament. This decision..."

He's cut off by everyone booing him. Fred and George being the loudest. "That's rubbish! Rubbish!"

"Silence!" Dumbledore yells.

"I'm going for it,"she whispered to her friends and they all gave an approving smile.

Fred and George also heard but glared at her, she just winked to piss them off.

Dumbledore approached a large golden stand, hiding the smile he has from hearing the amusing outburst of the twins, he lifted his wand, the gold melts away allowing a goblet with a large glowing blue flame to takes its place, "The Goble of Fire! Anyone wishing to try for the tournament write your name upon a piece of parchment and throw it into the flame before this hour Thursday night. Don't do so lightly. If chosen, there's no turning back. As from this moment, the Triwizard Tournament has begun."
