Chapter 26

3rd PERSON'S POV

As they arrive at the resort wala paring nag uusap. "Narinig nyo ba yung sinabi ko kanina sa kotse? Can we set all issues aside for now?" tanong pa ni Duke "sige kuya, we'll try for you" sagot pa ni Kiella. "Let's unpack our stuff first" lumapit si Duke sa counter to ask for the key cards to get into the room. After it was handed, lumapit si Duke sa kanila to give out the key cards. "Kiella and Angel, here's your key card. Kami namang tatlo eh magsasama sa room. Sige na abot nalang ulit tayo dito sa lobby for dinner. Pahinga na muna kayo" bilin pa ni Duke at umalis na patungo sa room nila. Sila Kiella at Angel naman pumunta na din sa kwarto nila.

(Duke, Hoon and Shun's room)

"Tangina, hindi ko alam kung anong ginawa ko. Bakit bigla nalang na dismaya si Kie sa akin?" tanong pa ni Shun sa kanila "loko! Hindi mo kasi sinabi yung origin nang pamilya nyo na yun yung business nyo" sagot pa ni Hoon. "Eh ayoko kasi magkaroon nang special treatment. Kagaya mo gusto ko lang din naman maranasan na mag trabaho para sa ibang tao at hindi maging amo" sabi naman ni Shun. "Alam mo, feeling ni Angel sobrang iba nang mga mundo natin kasi nga mayaman tayo at lahat lahat na. Kaya nung nalaman nila na heir ka pala at hindi mo pa sinabi sa kanila kahit dun naman sila nag stay sa hotel nyo eh mas lumala yung feeling nya na indifferent sila sa atin" sagot pa ni Hoon. "As if may magagawa tayo tungkol dun. Hindi naman natin kontrolado to, hindi din naman nila kasalanan yung stado nila" sabi ulit ni Shun.

Kinabukasan matapos nang breakfast eh napag desisyunan nila mag set up nang tent malapit sa beach. After ma set up nung tent eh umalis si Hoon at Duke para bumili nang ingredients para sa ihaw ihaw, bumalik si Angel sa kwarto nila kasi nakalimutan nya mag apply nang sunblock. Shun grabbed the chance to talk to Kiella kaya lumapit sa sa kanya.

"Are you up to something? Can we talk?" tanong pa ni Shun kay Kiella "not really, what did you want to talk about?" "I wanted to say sorry Kie, i know i didn't lie but I should've told you about my family business and such things" sabi naman ni Shun "no, you didn't have too. Its your privacy if ayaw mo sabihin sa akin. I totally understand that, i just can't help but feel bad kasi i treated you a close friend and shared to you almost everything about me then on the other hand you didn't think of me the same"

"No, I did Kie. I just didn't know that It was that important to tell you guys about it. I just felt like if i told you, you'd think of me differently kasi heir ako and we have this kind of business. I was afraid Kie, na baka mag iba yung tingin mo sa akin"

"Why would that happen? Heir ka o hindi, you are and will still be Shun. The guy who made my summer different"

"I'm sorry for all the nonsense things i've thought about Kie"

"I'm also sorry about me feeling bad when rights mo naman i keep yung mga bagay bagay kasi privacy mo yun."

"Let's stop fighting ok? We only have a few more days before summer ends. Hindi ko yun ma eenjoy kung hindi tayo bati, kaya bati na tayo, ok Kie?" tanong pa ni Shun "mmm" Kiella leaned her end on Shun's shoulder watching the beach under the tent. The best summer they could ever have, together.

Hoon and Duke on the other hand were doing grocery shopping. "you should talk to her, i think this time she needs to hear from you more than anyone. Feeling ko naguguluhan sya" sabi pa ni Duke kay Hoon "I am planning to, tito. She must've felt betrayed and I can't live with that. Magiging ok kami before this summer ends. We should be ok since hindi ko alam kung kailan ko ulit sya makikita after this" sabi pa ni Hoon.

"Ano bang plano mo? Anong public school? Babalik ka ba or ano?" tanong pa ni Duke "i dont think papayag silang bumalik pako dun sa lugar mo. I just said that para pumayag silang i let go ko yung archi. But pretty much, i will stay here na" sagot pa ni Hoon. "Ikaw intense kadin gumawa nang plano akala ko talaga babalik ka pa" sabi pa ni Duke "bakit? Akala mo talaga tito papayag si mommy?"

"May punto ka dyan, ikaw lang yung nag iisang anak tapos aalis kapa. But anyways wag na muna natin yang isipin. Mag bati na muna kayo, kasi feeling ko ngayon bati na si Shun at Kiella. Shun was troubled on how to make amends with Kiella, parang na takot talaga syang hindi na sila magiging ok. I think Shun really likes her"

"Halata naman tito, and for sure nahalata na yun ni Kie, ako kaya kailan mahahalata?" tanong pa ni Hoon kay Duke "anong kailan ka mahahalata?" "Wala, tara na po"
