"I heard things are going good for you." Henry said to Eric as they were in a studio room with a piano in front.
"Things are going great. It feels like we're now getting that recognition. I feel like I genuinely stand out this time." Eric replied.
"That's great to hear man. I know what it means trying to fit in. I ran into the exact same thing when I moved here. Just give it more time and stick the friends close to you and you'll be on your way." Eric said.
"Hsingche struggles with confidence at times but I tell him he's a great vocalist. I think being constantly compared to his brother all the time has really affected his confidence. I told you, you are you and Yutian is Yutian." Lay expressed his concerns.
"I won't lie and say I'm not jealous. I'm the middle child of the family and when you're in that position, it's hard to stand out whether the oldest gets all the accomplishments and the youngest recieves affection. I learned to care for only myself. It's why I'm at the top of the class. I'm hoping ajusshi lets me have the chance to show off my skills maybe I'll get that recognition." Eric replied, stating his honest feelings.
"Don't sweat it kid, you're already getting there. As someone who's also the middle child I can relate. Right now you're young, but as you get older, you realize things worrying these are just silly. I'm sure Alex looks up to you just as much. He's always seemed to be supportive of your choices right?" Henry pointed out.
Eric was beginning to realize what he meant. The whole moving to Korea was originally his idea. He almost forgot about the times Alex showed up to his talent shows. Eric's smile grew tenfold as old memories he forgot came back.
"Wow, I completely forgot. The idea of being an idol was because of me. Because I was into the music more. Thanks Henry." Eric bowed gratefully.
Henry preformed the Chinese version of his hit song Trap. Eric Chou personally liked the song because in a way he was living in it. Not in a romantic sense, but in the sense he is constantly reminded of his brother's accomplishments. It was the song he always played since it released and now he gets to be a part of the song next to leader Lay.
In place of Taemin was Lay who's mellow voice and street dance skills made it up for Taemin's absense and Chou sang Nam's part using his falsetto to the fullest.
