CHAPTER 32 : A HOUR DEMON

A Hour Demon

Zhyrheil looked at me as if he knew what I am feeling. He didn't explain anymore and continue eating. Everyone seems surprised and even Allyiah who's always wearing a poker-face is now blinking thrice.

“We have 3 to 4 hours left.” sabi ni Zhyrheil kaya sabay kaming napatingin sa relo namin, sina Mama at Papa naman sa wall clock at lalong nanindig ang balahibo ko nang makita ko kung anong oras na. It's already 8 AM!

Narinig ko ang mabilis nilang pagkain at halos sabay-sabay silang napatayo. Napaangat naman ako ng tingin sa kanila na nababalisa.

Akala ko 6 AM pa kasi parang madilim sa labas.

“Damn it. How come the hour flies like the fastest hero?” tanong ni Allyiah na nakakunot ang noong nakatingin sa relo niya. Pinukpok pa niya ito dahil baka raw defective. It doesn't look like defective because it's purely gold. Ewan ko kung may tupak ba sa utak si Allyiah O ano. How can an original watch be defective that easily?

“It's because of the surrounding. And it just means, the demons are near.” seryosong sagot ni Zhyrheil habang patuloy na kumakain. “But the real time is 7 AM. They're just creating time for their entertainment.” dagdag niya kaya nilingon na naman namin siya.

“What do you mean?” I asked, this is literally freaking me out.

“We're now in a dark scene. We're like entering in a horror movie. And it's impossible to survive.” aniya, para akong nakapusan ng hangin sa sinabi niya.

“It's possible. Cut your nonsense, Zhyrhiel. I don't think so if you know everything about them and I won't give a fuck about it. What's the deal with this annoying clock changing?!” Ally asked furiously. Kahit kailan talaga nakakainis din siya.

“It's just our hallucinations.” he answered that made us stop breathing. DAMN. IT.

“Is that even possible?! Hallucinations of an advanced time?” pagrereklamo ni Ally. Ah! so annoying. Mahihimatay na ako sa takot dito pero ang isang 'to... May issue ba siya sa lahat ng bagay sa mundo!?!

“It's impossible, yeah, but it is possible to a powerful creature like them. They can manipulate the time and can control the human mind to let us see the advance time they created. They have an underworld power that any human being can't have. But in our case, we can understand their power and how they use it, but still, we can't have that kind of inhuman activity.” Zhyrheil explained full of authority.

So that's how demons are. No wonder they are labeled as "DEMONS", because they are really a demon. They are having fun of their powers. If they'll use their time-advancing powers, there will be many people that'll cause casualties to other human being. Just thinking about its effect, there is a huge possibilities that a worker will rush his or her way to his or her office because he or she thought that the time is running fast. It will probably can cause an accident. And that power exist, it is... really scary.

“We have to calculate it's advancement.” I suggested, Zhyrheil nodded and get his phone on his pocket. When he dropped it on the table, we almost yelled from surprise because his phone were talking!

“Good morning, everyone! There is an emergency so I am activated. Time check, 7 : 30 AM!” masiglang bati ng cellphone niya kaya napaupo kaming lahat.
