Rubab's spoiled mood was spoiled more the moment her eyes caught an unknown boy sitting at her signature desk. This desk along with the five desks behind it are marked by Rubab and her friends. No one dares to sit on these desks.

The boy who was sitting at her desk was reading an astronomy book. He was so engrossed in his study that he didn't notice a gang approaching him with full rage.

" This desk is mine," Rubab banged her hand on the desk catching his attention.

The boy raised his dark brown orbs at her. Observing her face for a few seconds he started checking the desk carefully.

" There is no name written on the desk," He replied concentrating back on his book.

Rubab felt the sudden rage clouding her vision. She also wondered who is this boy. She never saw him before.

" You are the new student referred by the principal, aren't you?" Ayesha questioned but the boy did not answer anything.

Saad took one of the boy's notes in his hand and said loudly," Dawood Ibne Yazdani."

" Leave the desk, Dawood. Otherwise, it won't be good for you," Wahaj said sounding polite though the threat was prominent in his voice.

Dawood seemed untroubled by their questioning. He continued reading the book letting out a sigh.

" You don't know us well! You are brin........." Saad was interrupted by Dawood. " I don't need to."

Then, he diverted his eyes at Rubab," This desk isn't your property. I can sit wherever I want. You can sit somewhere else."

The next moment, his book was snatched away from his hand and thrown outside the window by Rubab. Giving her an astonished yet furious glare he ran to the window. He saw his book floating in the nearby pond.

Before he could overcome the sudden shock of this situation, the rest of his books, notes and bag were thrown on the floor. Giving him a dramatic glare she sat on the desk. The proud look on her face irritated him and pushed a strong nerve inside him.

" I am going to complain against you," Dawood screamed.

He thought they will look scared by his words but they burst into laughter. Getting embarrassed he looked at the other students who were looking at him with pitiful eyes.

" To whom?" Rubab questioned putting bubble gum inside her mouth. " Specifically?"

Dawood shouted," To the principal."

" Oh! You mean my mother?" Saad questioned and another roll of mocking laughter echoed through the whole room.

Soon, Dawood realized that these students are dominating the whole class since not even a single student stood against them. Everyone was looking petrified.

Before the situation could get worse, the teacher arrived. Without creating another drama, Dawood sat on another desk after collecting his books and notes from the ground.

The teacher started writing something on the board and instructed the students to write. Dawood opened his note but couldn't find his pen in the bag.

" Where did it go?" he mumbled searching for his pen. An irritated sigh left his mouth noticing the pen under Rubab's desk.

He murmured," That arrogant girl isn't going to return it."

He did not know whom he should ask for a pen. He does not know anyone in this class. He turned behind to ask for a pen but the boy sitting behind him did not help looking at Rubab's direction.

Letting out an inaudible frustrated growl Dawood turned at his desk. His facial expression got changed after noticing a pen on his desk. Picking it up he looked here and there in search of the person who helped her.

His eyes caught a chubby girl who was smiling at him. She said lowering her voice," Don't forget to return it."

Dawood smiled though he was a bit amused by the girl's action. He wondered why she helped him. A few moments ago he saw her standing with that arrogant spoiled gang.

" Thanks, umm....." Dawood said. " Your name?"

The girl's chubby cheeks turned red. She answered smiling," I am Ruhi."

Dawood smiled at her and then they diverted their focus to the class.

The whole day went well except for Dawood feeling some heated glare at him. He ignored Rubab and her gang like they never existed. He did not make a fuss about the book since he got another copy of it. It's just the first day of him in this school so he doesn't want any unnecessary drama.

Dawood was standing in front of the school gate having an annoyed expression. It was pouring outside and he did not bring an umbrella with him.

" Take it," A girly voice startled Dawood.

Someone offered an umbrella to him. His eyes turned round after noticing the person. It was none other than Rubab.

Note- The flashback won't be long. Only the major events will be elaborated.

Now, the important thing, before some of you comment author, why are you showing Rubab in such a negative arc?

Well, in the disclaimer I already mentioned that the leads in the story are horrible in their own way. So, I am just writing about how I planned to write. 😊
