The Big Day!

I woke up and smiled to one reoccurring thought. "ITS MY BIRTHDAY!"

It sucks how I'm in this hospital bed but they said nothing's infected and I should be able to go out with my now official boyfriend! I know he remembers.

I look at the clock and it's 9:00 AM.

I'm gonna get changed. Devon brought clothes over for me last night. What a nice guy.

I got changed and I waited.

Maybe Nadine or Lexy would come see me first! But they are probably mourning their dead parents. Devon doesn't seem too affected but how would I know, I've been in here all week.

I personally hate myself for how little I care. I do care just I'm so tired of the grief. It's my special day! I should be allowed to celebrate how far I've made it.

even though Chucky's still alive. Maybe he's mourning too.

Devon came running through the door with a big grin on his face. He held a huge present in his hands.

He put it on my bed and jumped on me.

I wrapped my arms around him and I could feel our spirits connecting.

Devon pecked my cheek and whispered.

Devon : I love you. Happy birthday.

Jake : Awe, I love you too.

Devon : Okay, OPEN YOUR PRESENTS!!

Presents? Plural? Maybe there's more in that box.

We hopped onto the bed and I unwrapped it.

I opened the cardboard box and-

Jake : OH MY GOD DEVON I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!

I pulled him into a huge embrace causing him to laugh softly.

It was the entire Friday the 13th franchise, Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, Halloween franchise, Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise and Scream franchise all on DVD!

Devon : And now time for your second gift!

Devon had the nurse take the box to my new foster parents house. What a lovely woman.

Jake : Second present?!

Devon pulled out two cinema tickets to see-

Jake : SCREAM 6?! THATS OUT?!

Devon : YES!!

Devon grabbed my hand and we walked out of the white, stale building.

We practically skipped our way into the cinema and bought our snacks before heading off to the movie.

We got seated, switched our phones off and prepared.

I'm so excited for this movie!
