Devon : Sure, well you can stay in bed for around another 30 minutes until you should start getting changed.
Already I'm craving my pills again but guess what, this school "doesn't support medication that negatively affects a students ability to learn." Fuck Off.
I'm angry at Cory. I'm angry at the world. But most importantly, I'm angry with myself.
I groaned and groggily got changed.
Devon grew suspicion.
He turned from his chair at our desk.
Devon : Are you okay?
Jake : Yeah.
Devon : You just seem... angry or overwhelmed?
Jake : I'm fine I'm just tired!
My tone coming across as more harsh than explanatory.
He huffed and turned back around.
For Fucks Sakes! I'm such an Asshole!
I walked over and bent over to hug him from behind the chair.
Jake : I'm sorry, we can go out today.
His eyes lit up.
Devon : Really?!
I nodded.
Devon : Movie then food?!
Jake : Whatever, just pick something scary or fun.
Devon : Thank you!
He kissed my cheek.
He's so adorable when he's excited. His eyes grow radiant and he emits an aura of joy.
Jake : What are you doing?
Devon : The homework.
Jake : How long have you been doing it?
