"Hi, do you have any Pineapple juice?" You ask one of the workers at the store
"Yeah in aisle 5, near the dairy" the cashier says chewing roughly on her gum.
"Okay thanks" you walk away.
You hear siren sound of either a police car or and ambulance. It sounded near by.
You ignore it and keep grabbing your groceries.
You pay and walk out the store and could hear a bunch of policers and ambulance siren near you.You ignore it and keep walking, you had a light glance at what had happened, it looked like some old man, he looked badly injured. You felt bad but there was really nothing you could do.
You keep walking and feel a vibration in your pocket, you check your phone and it's Andy
"Hey" answer
"Thanks god" you hear him say "I thought you were hurt, I heard and ambulance" he says
"No I'm good. I just walked passed it. It was and old man he was badly injured" you tell Andy "I feel so bad for the poor man" you say
"He's going to be fine" Andy assures "oh if there is a store near by could you grab me some bandages" he says
"Why?" You asks him
"The stitches" he says
"Andy you have to take better care of yourself, or that wound will never heal" you tell him annoyed. You decide to turn around and walk towards the store again to get the bandages.
"It not my fault my hot young wife can't resist some hard core sex" he says
"Eww you just ruined it" you tell him as you two laugh "so dose my big boy want the princess or the avengers bandages?" You ask how jokingly as you walk past the ambulance again.
"Get the avengers one"
This time you could see the face of the old man
"Oh my god" you say once you notice who it was. You feel your heart drip but in shock you just keep walking acting like you didn't see it.
"What?" Andy asks "y/n what's wrong?" Andy asks panicked
"I just notice there out of averages bandage" you say
"For god sake you scared me, grab what ever you want" Andy says relieved "once your done stay there I'll come pick you up" he says
"No don't it's okay I'll walk" you assure him
"It's getting dark. I'll be there in five" he ends the call.
You pay for everything and just wait.
You kept thinking of what you just saw. You keep doubting yourself, your not sure what you just saw. Maybe your just tired and are imagining it. You assure yourself this is just some stranger.
By the time Andy arrived the crowd and the cops had cleared up.
You get in the car and just sit still
"Get my bandages?" He asks jokingly but you don't answer "y/n?" Andy shakes you to get you attention "are you okay?" He asks
"Yeah sorry. I'm good" you smile.
You two get home, Andy was making dinner downstairs when you decided to turn on the news to see if there are any new news about the accident.
You get to a news channel
"On today news a 78 year old man was attacked by bunch of teenagers"
You keep watching but still not finding the answer you were looking for. Is it him?
"We will finish the news after the break"
Exactly then Andy walks in the room with a tray "thought we have dinner in bed" he smiles
The news starts again "78 year old James barber also know as "bloody billy"was attacked today, the attack led to his death. Doctors say......."
"Fuck" you say whisper. This was the first time you wished you had wrong for yourself. From the second you saw him you were sure it was him.
You look over at Andy who just looks at the TV and laughs. You look at him shocked
"It's over" he smiles in relief as he takes a bite of the dinner
"Andy are you okay?" You ask. Not the reaction you were expecting from him.
"Yeah this is good" he says
"You know you you can be sad, he was you dad after all-" you cuts you off
"He was not my dad" Andy says "for me he died a long time ago. I'm okay really" he says
You just look at him finding is reaction disrespectful "look long time ago he murdered a girl, I can't imagine the pain her family went through. If it were you or my mom I would of killed him on my own" Andy says "now let's eat" he says
You look at him just to make sure he really is okay "Well at least talk to your mom" you say
"Yeah, I've been thinking of inviting her over" he says.
"You should" you say with smile and take your plate and start eating. You had this sick feeling your stomach because of Andy's reaction to this. You understand he was a terrible man and got what he deserved but he's still Andy's dad.
You just ignore it and change the Tv channel to something for fun.
You go down stairs and clean of the dishes and clean a bit in the living room, just in case Andy mom decides to come over tonight.
You hear the bell ring down stairs
"Andy is that your mom?" You ask him
"Yeah" he replies making his way downstairs to open the door.
