Chapter 40

                               Felix's POV
He was snuggling with me again.

He must feel safe when he snuggles.

He must like music too.

I didn't fall back asleep. The train started moving and it scared Bolt. He jumped up.

"It's okay. The train was just starting to move again. Go back to sleep."

He laid back down.

"Are you still sleepy?"

"No."

"Do you want to play with some of your toys?"

"Mhm."

I got up and walked over to a bag. I brought it over to Bolt. I opened it and he pulled out some toys. He smiled. He handed me a toy. I took it and started playing with him.

"Hi baby!"

"Hey Ellie!"

"How's your day?"

"Good. Me and Bolt are just playing with some toys."

"Awww! I can't wait to meet him! How is he doing?"

"He's good. He just woke up from a nap. The train started moving again and it scared him."

"Awww poor baby."

"I have papers you need to read. They're about Bolt."

"Okay. I'm sorry...I haven't mindlinked you. I've been running around getting his room ready."

"Don't be baby. I totally understand. How is that going?"

"Good. Can me and Nova come to the train station to pick you up?"

"Yeah. Of course."

"I have to go. I'm at the store with Nova. I'm losing my mind."

"Oh no. I'm sorry. I'll talk to you later?"

"Yes. Definitely. I love you."

"I love you too."

We played until he got hungry. I grabbed a snack and a drink for him. I sat him down at the table and let him eat. When we finally got home, I grabbed a luggage cart. I found Novalia and Pixelle.

"Uncle Lix!"

"Hey!"

Bolt hid behind me.

"It's okay. Bolt? This is your cousin."

"Hi! I'm Novalia! You have a really cool name!"

"Don't shout."

He slowly walked up to Novalia. He started hugging her. Pixelle walked up to us and kissed me. Bolt looked up at Pixelle.

"This is my mate, Pixelle."

He started hugging her.

"Hey little man."

"Mommy?"

She immediately picked him up.

"I miss my mama."

"I bet. I bet."

That must be what he called Sarah.

We walked to the car and I put in Bolt's car seat. Pixelle put him in then put the seatbelts on him. I put everything in the car. At home, he ran inside. Pixelle helped me bring the suitcases inside.

She showed us his room. He ran up to the bed. He sat down on it.

"It's big enough for one of us to lay with him."

"Good. He's more comfortable with me."

He walked over to the toy box. Me and Pixelle went around his room and put things away.

"Dadda?"

"Yes?"

"I wuv you."

"I love you too."

He started hugging me.

"Let's get you washed up."

I gave him and bath then dried him off. I got him dressed.

"Wanna go meet pop pop?"

We started looking for my dad. We found him in his office.

"Dad? I'm back."

Bolt hid behind me. My dad walked up to us.
