Pixelle's POV
I jumped up.
"Where is he?"
"He's in my office."
I didn't bother drying off. I stayed to the side and made my way to Malcom's office. I ran in and saw Nathan.
"Nate!"
He saw me and ran up to me and started hugging me.
"Wh-what's wrong? H-how'd you get here? Nate? How'd you know where to find me?"
"I didn't!"
"Okay. Okay. It's okay. How'd you find me then?"
"I ran around looking for you."
"How did you find this pack? How'd you get here?"
He looked down.
"Buddy? I gotta know who sent you here. Is everyone okay?"
"I was just walking around."
"Do you know how long?"
"My feet hurt."
That answers that.
Felix and Malcom ran into the room. Nathan hid behind me.
"If he's here...then where are my aunt and uncle?"
"I have no idea. He just showed up."
I crouched down.
"Where are your parents?"
"I wasn't with them."
"Okay. Who were you with them?"
"Eddie and Cherry."
My eyes widened.
"You were with my brother and sister?! For how long?!"
"Peter sent me to live with them."
"Okay why? Is there a reason?"
"He said my parents are bad."
"Are Eddie and Cheryl here? Did they come with you?"
He nodded.
"Okay. Show me. Are they in this pack?"
He nodded again.
"Take me to them."
"You won't hurt them right?"
"No buddy. I'm not gonna hurt them. I won't hurt you either."
"Promise?"
"I promise."
"They're in the woods."
"Why are they in the woods?"
"We have nowhere to go."
"I gotta know what that means."
"Peter kicked us out."
That horrified me.
"Okay. I seriously need to know where they are."
Nathan brought us to the woods.
"Okay, stay by us. Do you remember how to get to them?"
"I dunno?"
"EDDIE?! CHERYL?! WHERE ARE YOU?!"
