                                 Felix's POV
"Woah! A turtle!"

"there's a turtle rehab center that's like an hour away. we should take her." I whispered into Pixelle's ear.

"Yeah. That sounds good."

Novalia yawned after a few hours.

"Let's go to the gift shop quickly."

Novalia picked out a few toys then we went home. My dad called me into his office after I brought her to her room.

"Han did more scouting out the area."

"And?"

"Security is horrible. This should be an in and out situation."

"When do I leave?"

"Tonight."

"Wha-"

"Go get your things together. We'll finish once your done."

I walked to my room with my head down.

"Lix? What's wrong?"

"I have to go on a mission. I leave tonight."

Pixelle ran up to me.

"What? Why?"

"I have to leave tonight."

"No!"

She started hugging me.

"I'm sorry. I'm upset about it too."

I spent extra time with the girls. I grabbed my things and my dad drove me to the train station.

"A train? Why?"

"It's less pain for him. And...nobody will yell if he cries."

"Oh...you have a point. I have a room then?"

"Yes. Han will pick you up."

I got on the train and my mind started racing.

What condition...will he be in?

Han picked me up then brought me to a hotel.

"Your room has already been set up for a child."

I got my hotel key then he brought me to my hotel room. I put all my things down and he explained everything to me.

"Sarah Carson? Why does that name sound familiar?"

Then it hit me.

"Isn't that...Alpha Connor's daughter?"

"That's exactly who she is."

We came up with a plan then went over it.

"He's just in a room? By himself?"

"Yes. It's heartbreaking actually."

"What's his name? Do you know?"

"Bolt."

I didn't sleep well. In the morning, Han came to get me. We set up the car seat in the car then made our way to the location. We snuck into the pack house and I followed him to where Bolt was.

"Here it is."

He picked the lock then opened the door.

"I'll stand guard. I'll tell you if someone's coming. Cover him with this."

He handed me a padded blanket. I walked into the room then quietly closed the door. I heard crying and walked towards it. I saw a bit of light. I saw a little boy with blond hair and hazel eyes.

"It's okay. I won't hurt you. I'm Felix. I'm here to get you out of here."

He crawled up to me.

"Hey buddy."

He started hugging me while crying.

"Shhhh. It's okay."

I wrapped him in the blanket.

"It's okay. I'm right here."

I stood up while picking him up. I started rocking him.

"You're okay."

The room looked disgusting. There was blood everywhere. Bolt was covered in scars. I got him to calm down then went to the door. I opened it and walked out.

"Got him?"

"Yes. I have him."

We rushed out of the pack house. Alpha Connor saw us.

"Are you here for the bastard child? Take him."

We ran past him. We snuck out of the pack house without anyone else noticing us. I unwrapped Bolt then put him in the car seat. I put the seatbelts on him.

"It's gonna be okay."

I shut the door then ran to the other side of the car. I opened the back door then jumped in.
