I woke up because of the consecutive knocks on my door.
Pupungas pungas pa akong tumayo sa mahimbing na pagtulog. Dumapo ang tingin ko sa orasan na nasa may side table ko at halos mapakunot ang noo ko noong nakitang alas otso pa lang ng umaaga.
"What's with the early disturbance?" napapikit kong tanong.
I sighed violently bago nagtungo sa pintuan ng kwarto at binuksan ito.
Tumambad sa akin ang kapatid na may kakaibang ngiti sa kanyang labi.
Did something great happen?
"Yari!" tawag nya.
Kahit inaantok pa ay binigyan ko sya ng isang ngiti.
"What's wrong, Ate?" maagap kong tanong.
She beamed at me.
I gave her a questioning look.
"Someone's waiting for you downstairs," she trailed off.
Napasinghap ako. Sino na naman?
"What do you mean, Ate? Sino?" naguguluhan kong tanong.
The side of her lips rose before she continued.
"Your suitor perhaps? Ashild's here; he said he's taking you out. Now dress up and come down fast." kaswal na sambit ni Ate Salisha.
Para akong nabingi sa sinabi nya.
"What!?" nataranta kong sigaw.
Ate Salisha chuckled, looking so amused by my reaction.
"Dress yourself properly, Yari. I'll entertain him for a while," she said before she left.
Natulala pa ako saglit bago nagmadaling pumasok sa aking kwarto. Wala sa sariling pumunta sa banyo para maligo.
Damn, Ashild! I will kill him!

After taking a bath, I immediately headed to my walk-in closet.
Shit. What should I wear?
Ate Salisha said it's a date! Pero bakit hindi naman ako na-inform! Now I don't know what to wear.
I wrinkled my nose. Sa pagmamadali ay hinablot ko na lang ang isang pale pink off shoulder mini dress.
I wore it, and I paired it with my black stiletto heels and strappy pumps. I also wore my silver infinite jewelry set to complement my outfit.
Pagod akong umupo sa study table ko at doon na nag-make up. Natural make up na lang ang ginawa ko para hindi masyadong ma-impress si Ashild. Baka isipin nya pa na pinaghandaan ko ang biglaan nyang pagaya sa labas.
I glanced at the mirror once again before I sprayed my perfume. Kinuha ko na rin ang puti kong sling bag at lumabas na sa kwarto.
"Finally, Yari!" My sister exclaimed.
I bit my lips and gave her a small smile.
Ate Salisha's in the mood to tease me.
Nadatnan kong nakaupo na roon sa sofa sa living room si Ashild. Masama agad ang tingin ko sakanya. He was looking so casual for today. He's wearing a black polo and trousers. He looked good, I guess.
My sister signaled for me to come to him, and she excused herself.
I sighed before I walked towards Ashild.
"What the hell are you doing here?" marahas kong anas sakanya.
He immediately smirked.
"I'm taking you out, Yari," he casually replied on my out burst.
