chasing stars - poetry

devoid of anything at all

since the beginning
i have been plagued
with the cataclysmic schism
of either only being everything
or devoid of anything at all
and now i see
that im only the product
of all the products
that came before me
and all of their rage
of chasing the galaxies above
come from their own desire
for me to escape the
paradigm they never could
i am only my mother and father
and they want me to run from them all
