    so i was never 
    one for telling jokes 
    and it's funny when 
    the punchline is served 
    to someone other 
    than you 
    but it's heartbreaking 
    to see when the ones 
    you love dearest 
    fall prey to the
    things you see
    in movies 
    she left her necklace

    after giving herself away
