You're the book that i can never put down

a muse every poet craves for

you're the laugh that can repel any frown

the melody that inspired Mozart.

You are the loveliest of the creation

an art piece

that makes nature proud,

you're the rebellious illumination

piercing its moonlight

through the densest of the clouds.

You are the alluring piece of literature

that pulled the writer in Jane Austen,

a love that ignited

the golden era of romanticism,

you're the better

Atlas Corrigan found in Boston,

the boundless sky

that makes caged wings yearn for freedom.

As usual, the classroom was buzzing with chatter as we awaited the arrival of their teacher. Amidst the sea of familiar faces, Dhriti and I couldn't help but notice the new boy sitting beside Aadarsh and Danish. He was tall, though not quite as tall as Aadarsh, and exuded an air of confidence as he effortlessly engaged in conversation with them both.

"Should we talk to him?" Dhriti suggested.

I hesitated, feeling a familiar knot of anxiety form in my stomach at the thought of approaching a stranger. "You mean you should talk to him," I corrected her. "And i think we should wait for Saara," I added.

Dhriti nodded in agreement. "Yeah, that's better. We should wait for her."

We fell into a comfortable silence, observing the new boy from a distance. Suddenly, Dhriti spoke up again. "He's cute though," she said with a grin.

I raised an eyebrow in amusement. "You do have a boyfriend, right?" I reminded her playfully.

Dhriti tsked and leaned in closer to me, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. "It's not that," she said. "I'm just wondering if Saara likes him."

"Yes, He seems quite cute, but-" Before I could even complete  my response, Dhriti suddenly clutched my hand tightly in order to make me shut up, her eyes fixed on someone. I followed her gaze and UH-OH

The new boy was looking right at us, a friendly smile spreading across his face.
