i met a boy
i met a girl
his eyes captured my attention first
he held secrets in that deep shade
of hazel brown
his demeanor spoke of dark academia
a book only to be read after the sun comes down
her smile captured my attention first
the creases followed after the lips radiated a sweet light
a light that straight held my heart ,
her presence makes me fell as if everything is just right
he wore an unseen cloak
so he couldn't be that easy to read
still he threw the fabric away himself
so i slowly started to see all his bleeds
the more she revealed
the more she started to feel familiar
like fate laid a grand scheme to make us meet
for she felt like my reflection in a mirror
he carries a sketchbook wherever he goes
for he likes to outline the life
fill it with different shades of charcoal
his soul rests in wooden sticks of graphite
she carries a book wherever she goes
for she never misses a chance to escape into the reveries
live with the characters she loves
her heart is most alive in the sheets of dead trees
we are poles apart
poles that are made from the same spark
one energy splitted in two
one burned to sky
one melted into ocean
but both bear the same shade of blue
his presence fills me with whispers of soft night
and a sweet lullaby sung with the most mellifluous of the cords.
her presence fills me with a glorious illumination
a blend of all the suns I've ever ignored

My mind was racing as I tried to make sense of what was happening. What on earth were these girls planning behind my back?
"What?" I exclaimed, my voice rising in disbelief. "Wait...what did you do?" I stared at Dhriti in horror, my mind reeling with possibilities.
"Go talk to him first," Dhriti urged me, her voice insistent. "The break will end soon."
Aadarsh stood up and I followed him out of the classroom, my heart pounding in my chest. He seemed hesitant, unsure of himself as he led me into the hallway.
"So," he began, his voice unsteady. "Shivam told me...is it true or is he just joking?"
"What?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.
"That...that you like me," he said, his eyes searching mine for some kind of confirmation.
I felt like the ground had been ripped out from under me. "What? Oh my god," I exclaimed, my hand flying to my forehead in disbelief.
I was at a loss for words, unsure of what to say. Finally, I managed to stammer out a response. "It's true, but it's fine. You don't have to give me an answer. Hell, you weren't even supposed to know. Ever."
Aadarsh looked at me with a mixture of sympathy and regret in his eyes. "It's fine," he said gently. "You're a great person, but you and I just don't have a future together."
I nodded, trying to hide the hurt that was threatening to overwhelm me. "It's fine," I repeated. "I know that. Don't worry about it."
"Hmm," Aadarsh said with a relieved smile. "I didn't want things to be awkward between us. That's why I thought it would be better if we talked."
Just then, the bell rang, signaling the end of our break. "Oh, we should head back inside," I said, grateful for the interruption.
