this girl i met

holds an unending strings of words

her laughter gives the feather

to all my flightless birds

                         this boy i met

makes me ignore my glum days

                          he has sorcerey presence

like horses running on the waves

this girl I'm learning

is way so much more

a magnifying glass in her brain

but I'm afraid to be explored

                                  this boy I'm learning

                                 is scared of things unknown

cause when it has come to love

his heart has only ever been thrown

this girl is not mine to have

I'm screaming at my heart

but it has only defied me

from the very start

                                              this boy is an ocean

                                              sadly, oblivious of his depth

cause when i sneaked into his eyes

                                                empathy was all he kept

we must keep our distance

but she's forcing new stars that were never there

she is disrupting all the constellations

just so we can exist together here

                                                 I've tumbled down his walls

but he is still afraid to let me in

yet i cant give up now

i cant let his fears win

she ran past his forbidden gates

he too pushed open his castle doors

two pairs of eyes drowning together

              finally understand

their fates were already entwined before

"Our English teacher is absent today," Aadarsh said as we made our way back to the classroom

"Our English teacher is absent today," Aadarsh said as we made our way back to the classroom. "We'll probably get a substitute."

"Hey," he said suddenly, turning to me with a mischievous glint in his eye. "Why don't we go to the library? Since we'll just have to sit quietly in our classroom now, why don't we go there instead?"

"Are you for real?" I asked skeptically, but he was already marching back into the classroom to grab his bag.

He unzipped it and pulled out a random book, thrusting it into my hands. "What if someone asks what we're doing in the library?" I asked nervously as I followed him down the hallway.

"No one will," he said confidently, his eyes crinkling with amusement. "Me and Shivam have ditched our class twice before you came."

The library was a long room with tables lining each side and a large bookshelf occupying the wall opposite the entrance. It was deserted, not a soul in sight.

Aadarsh took a seat at one of the tables and I hesitantly sat down beside him. "Honestly, I'm really scared," I admitted. "What if someone comes in?"

"Just pretend you're studying or helping me with my doubts," he said nonchalantly as he rummaged through his bag. He pulled out a pen and offered it to me. "Here, take this."

"But I'm sure no one will come in here," Aadarsh said reassuringly. I nodded, deciding to trust him.
