The Ritual
Backstory: Nyx is a powerful being. Years ago, she came to work for the family as the children's governess. The night Karayan attacked, Vivienne begged her to save her daughter, Rosella. Nyx did but was attacked by Karayan. Once Rose escaped, Karayan knocked Nyx out and used her in a scheme that wouldn't come to fruition years later.
