chapter 6: home isnt a place, its a person.

Behind closed doors.. Behind home it all went wrong for Wally. He slowly creaked open the door to the house and chuckled slightly. "Home.. I'm home.. Haha.. " he called out glancing around, seemingly anxiously. The house replied in an angry, creek and slam. It went dark.

"Home.. I'm dearly sorry forgive me... " he shuddered back, as the house grew dark and surrounded him, it spoke in Creeks and more, but he knew what it was saying. (Yes I know there's a word for it but I can't think of it right now for the life of me! Also house is just gonna be translated from here on out)

"You're not leaving wally. You've been gone too long. " the house replied, as they bantered back and fourth, it got worse throughout the night. It's safe to say that wally wasn't sleeping that night. It was torture for him, tears were spilled that he couldn't show. however in the end, he was allowed out from the house the next morning.

Then back to you, you woke up still a bit sleepy and looked around yawning, a small fade of color, blush, popped up as you remembered the last bits of last night. You stretched away the butterflies and got out of bed, there you found the note where he explained that he had to go last night and you nodded to yourself in understatement. But your mind couldn't get off the fact of everything from last night. Could it be possible that he liked you too? Maybe. But you thought to yourself how silly it could be for you. Then you got a call, it was from your boss. Oops.

"Y/n..we need to talk" he stated. You replied haistly. "About what? " you asked nervously, your voice shaking as he started. "You need to check the work I've sent you. It hasn't even been opened! I know you just moved recently, but that is NO excuse. " he sighed and hung up the phone. You nodded and rolled your eyes, pushing off the thought. He never got off your case sometimes. You then fully got changed and did your morning routine. When you came downstairs f/n was sitting there at the table happily, she looked over at you and nodded.

"morning y/n! " they said happily. You nodded back with a gleeful smile. "Morning f/n! how was it with you and your girlfriend? " you had asked tilting your head a bit as you took the seat in front of them and started to eat as well. They gave out a soft laugh, looking in awe of the mention of their girlfriend. "It was great, y/n really, very fun! " they replied and explained all the small dates and stuff the two did together. As they were talking though you couldn't help but think of what it'd be like to do that with wally. Recently you noticed that the silly guy was constantly on your mind. You seemed to be in your own thoughts as f/n then checked if you were listening. And with that it snapped you back into reality and nodded. "Yeah! It sounds like you two are having fun though! Continue! " was your simple answer, so they nodded and did. After though soon, they had to get ready for work again with Eddie, funny enough Eddie drove up to the place and waited patiently, f/n waved goodbye and hopped into the car as they started their route.

Soon you finished up your own meal and put it into the sink and were gonna throw it in the dishwasher after it was done with its cycle. You made your way up to your bedroom and opened your lap top, getting work finished up which most definitely took a few hours. Your boss wasn't kidding when he said he assigned a good bit of work you had to do. However you decided to take a break, maybe even visit wally. You hadn't seen him at all today as it was now reaching the afternoon. Usually you'd see him at least outside, you were slightly concerned but didn't wanna seem overly anxious.

You got up and made your way outside with the same boots and coat. You walked around and noticed wally wasn't anywhere to be found. This created a gut feeling that something wasn't right and you saw him at his upstairs window, you waved up to him, he seemed to instantly raise his head, but he looked, rather off. He looked tired and his hair wasn't fixed at all. You motioned if you could come in, but before you two could have any more interaction you were caught off gaurd as Julie came running up to you. "OMG hi y/n! It's nice to see you out! I was wondering if you wanted to help me out with my garden actually! Some friendship bonding huh! Whatcha say? " they said with a warm, cheery smile. You felt bad for saying no so you agreed, but glanced sadly and anxiously as you looked up at wally, and he only gave you a smile and waved bye to you, before leaving the window, doing whatever next. He didn't leave your mind after that, even as you and Julie were gardening. It was a bit fun though, Julie gave you some tea and you two planted some roses and other flowers that looked quite lovely with her house. Eventually you couldn't stand the gut feeling something was wrong and you hugged Julie. "It was so fun with you! The garden looks beautiful girl! Just like your house! " you laughed and sighed as she laughed as well, thanking you brightly. Your smile then dimmed a little as you looked at the person before you. "I'm sorry Julie, but my friend needs me now! Is it all good if I leave? " you asked wanting to just verify. She nodded and waved her hand. "Of course! No need to ask! I'll see you some other time, thanks for hanging around! " they left off and skipped into their house, as you waved bye, and your smile fully faded as you turned, heading to wallys house.
