I know this wasn't on the list, but I found this song, and I had to. I just had to.

When good old friends are going away...

Cal didn't want to leave these people. These people were his. They were like a family to him. These people loved him as much as he did them. He didn't want to leave them.

Will you wish them to remember your name?

Even when the day comes—no. Today is the day for him to go his separate way. But he knows that he'll meet them again. No matter what corner of the world he's in. The loom that weaves the strings of fate, can't be easily cut, after all.

When good old days are passing away...

Camp Oasis is Cal's home. It has been his home for about 5 to early 6 years now. Even though he wasn't here for 5. He's met so many people here. He made many memories with those people too. But all stories come to a close eventually. No matter how many sequels.

Will you promise your heart remains the same?

Despite what's happened to Camp Oasis and the people who reside in it, Cal will not change. He'll stay the same way. Even if he's Khonsu's reincarnation. Even if he carries Khonsu's soul. Even if he is Khonsu. He will always be Cal first. Always.

Never can we suspend the time...

Cal doesn't have the power to suspend time for as long as he'd like. But at least the powers he does have help him protect the people that matter most. To protect Camp Oasis.

Having to leave the tracks behind...

Cal can't take these memories and carry them with him like a lifeline. He can't hold onto things forever. Especially not the past.

There is a longer way ahead, After all...

Cal has to board a different train than the one everyone else is taking. It might be a longer ride than theirs. But they'll still arrive at the same place. No matter how long it takes. He'll see them again.

There used to be a story teller...

The world is like one giant storybook. But nobody knows its author. Maybe Khonsu or Cal is that author. Maybe everyone is the author.

Who always painted the sunshine and the rain...

The story was never sugarcoated. But it was never sugar free either. There were times where the sun wasn't out. There were also times where it wasn't raining. The story was true. Real. Nonfiction. Never a fantasy too far away to become a reality.

One has to eventually grow up...

Cal knows he can't stay the exact same way he is forever. But his heart will always be pure. He may not have the wonder that Ricarro has, despite his age. He may not have the knowledge that Inpu has. And maybe he doesn't have the combat ability that Xylo has. But he has the spirit.

Spending a lifetime to taste the love and pain...

Life is like dew on morning grass. As brief as a flash of lightning. Momentary, and vain. Lost in the moment where one first enters the world, and when they reach its finale. Everything betwixt is experiences that create a being. No matter how good or bad they were. No matter how much sun touched that morning grass. No matter how much blood was spilt on that grass the very same day.

Never can we suspend the time...

Cal wishes he could stop time entirely. If only for a day or two. Cal wishes he could put all the memories he made in Camp Oasis into bottles. But he can't. And he knows that.

Having to leave the tracks behind...

The past can never be truly changed. Only altered. Cal doesn't see a reason for that. If anything, the past was just the prologue. It's how to understand the beginning of story. Why would anyone want to change a story?

There is a longer way ahead, After all...

Fate is like yarn. They all start as separate and individual strings. But somewhere along the way, they all tie themselves together and can't be untangled. Then the strings smooth out again and continue forwards. But they'll always tie themselves together again.

...

If it's too hard to say goodbye...

Cal doesn't want to leave. He knows he'll miss it too much. He'll miss out on too much. Others will miss him. He'll miss them. Goodbye was too sad of a word to use. Maybe "see you soon" was better.

Give us a try to sing a rhyme...

So as everyone was gathered in Camp Oasis for another ball, he looked at it all for a while. Looking at the different aspects of the picture. After all, what would a story be without pictures?

Cal helped build this place. He helped make it the way it is now. He was part of this community. Part of this family. The family he'll cherish forever.

Cal smiled. Before turning away, and boarding a separate train.

"May you, the beauty of this world, always shine..."

Perhaps it's best for some things to stay in the past.

Perhaps it's best to say "see you soon," instead of "goodbye."

And perhaps it's best to think of a story's end as its start.

Every story had a sequel, after all.

There is no end to a story.

Only a beginning.

Ok. First of all, why does this song fit Cal? Second of all, I wrote something longer than around 600 words. What a miracle. Third of all, "Da Capo" is a musical term used to say "from the beginning."

The next fanfic is gonna be one on the list I swear. An Alternate Ending. (Where someone may or may not die-)
