There were rules when it came to magic, dark magic was forbidden as it seduced the soul and tainted it with darkness. But I wasn't concerned about that right now. As a mother, I had to protect both my babies. My mother abandoned me, and now she was back to ruin my life.

"Everlina that's not what happened ?" my mother tried to explain her actions, but she was too late for that may be back then I would have been happy to have her explain herself and make up for the time we lost, but now it was too late, and I was mature now soon to be mother too.

"No, Nora, I don't want to know anymore what happened to you or why you chose to abandon me." I knew she never came here for me but some parts of me wished she had, but this mother was cold and raw.

" Please put aside the past and listen to me." she was begging, and I hated her. She was coming to me, but I put a hand out to stop her in her tracks. I walked and sat next to Aaron.

"You came here to separate a child from their mother, and I see history repeating itself once again." My word sent pain as she looked at me with shame written all over her.

"Am sorry Everlina but do we have to talk right here about that."she was the one who started it by coming here and speaking in my absences.

"I will not give any of my pups to you."
Aaron spoke, and I knew would never give our babies to anyone. Gideon and Larissa looked at each other with concern.

"This is just a mare speculation and these babies aren't even born, their fate could change." Daniel looked at me, trying to let me know he was on my side.

"that's where you have wrong our oracles don't lie, but if I leave here without the child..."she stopped as I interrupted her and one of her witches gave me a bad look, and I simply did not care.

"I think you should actually leave."
She never had good in her, and she was really a bad mother.

"Everlina you cursed your babies when you entered the world of the dead and brought darkness with you. If she were correct, I would world search the world to find a spell to remove that magic, but I was not going to give up on my babies.

"Nora stop we have heard you, and now we have decided this is the matter of our pack and I can assure you with every situation there's a solution, am sure there is one for this situation." Aaron stopped her from saying any more of her rubbish.

I was so worried as this matter was a threat to the pack and anyone could try to kill my babies before they were born.
"Father I want to know if what Nora said will be a problem?" he sensed my fears, and he wanted assurance, but Alpha Gideon's eyes darted from Aaron to me before he spoke.

"of course not, we speak of my grandchildren here."I did not know whether to trust him. He stood and hugged Aaron, and we left the room.

We returned to our bedroom, and I was still angry with Nora, sat beside me on the bed."In three days time, we will have to leave here to meet with the New Moon Council."He was apprehensive, he took hands in his. I gazed into his eyes and I knew our babies would encounter the battle too.

"why must we meet with him."? I needed to know the reason.
