As the clock ticked on, time seemed to slip through my fingers like sand in an hourglass, leaving me struggling to grasp onto every precious moment. It felt as though I was constantly playing a never-ending game of catch-up, forever racing against the clock in a desperate bid to stay on top of my busy schedule.

Buti na lang ay nandiyan si mommy at Ethyl para mag remind sa akin to take a rest even if it's just a minute.

And after a weeks of crawling myself in law school, my weekend became free from my school works.

I don't know if I will feel irritated or what because they already messed up some small plants and ruined their things.

"They messed up the whole garden, mom." Sumbong ko.

"Sino ang naglagay diyan sa kanila?"

"Ako," inis kong sagot.

"Sinong sisisihin natin?"

"Gawin mong siopao," suhestiyon niya at natawa nang mag-wrestling ang dalawang kuting while Lucy and Mingming were smelling some Bermuda grass.

I crossed my arms under my chest before walking towards her at the long monobloc table where some fruits were placed. I took a small grape and munch it.

My mom gave me a subtle expression, and it takes a minute before she speaks.

"Maybe the next day. I don't know what's on your father's mind, but one thing for sure is that he's meeting with his clients there."

I nodded at her as I sensed the distaste in her tone while answering me.

"You contacted him?" She added.

"Yeah, but he always dismissed me. I just wanted to ask why he didn't keep his words last time but it seems like Dad has something up on his sleeve."

"Be patient with him, marami lang siyang inaasikaso sa Iloilo." Aniya at ngumiti ng tipid.

"I missed him, " I uttered out of nowhere.

I saw how my mother glanced at me for a seconds and nodded consciously.

"I can feel that you won't like the next time you meet him." She says that made me slouched, staring at my feet.

I anticipated his possible reactions but I can still feel the nervousness slowly crept on me.

He says nothing about my indecisive state. He says nothing about my doings . And he says nothing about my dating history with a girl. A nothing that speaks with so much hidden despises. He never says that he supports me or didn't like it. He was just there, standing infront of me with a glint of disappointment.
