Maxon/America After the selection

I knew I would have to tell everyone but first I have to tell my mother. She would be so mad at me if I did not tell her first. I knew she would be fine if maxon knew. As I walked down to the woman's room to meet my mother I saw Lucy come down from the stairs.

" Hey Lucy!" I yelled to her.

" Hello Queen America. How are you today?"

" I am fine and Lucy call me America. Ok?"

" Yes your highness."

" Oh I give up!"

We both laugh at the for a second and than I said...

" I must go but I will see you later at the dinner right?"

" Yes you will. Go bye... America."

I felt her in the hallway. I walked into the woman's room and saw mom by the window looking outside. I walked over to her and put my hand on her sholder. She jumped a little and than said

" You scared me!"

I laugh a little than said

" I am sorry but I do have to tell you something. I think you might be happy to now that you are going to be a grandmother!"

She didn't say anything for a second and than the biggest smile I have ever seen on her was on her face.
