Kairon then released my hand, and I heard the sound of an alarm indicating the opening of a door. Puzzled, I scrunched my eyebrows together under the blindfold, awkwardly standing in the same stance, and fidgeting with my fingers.
"Ah ready now. Take off the blindfold." He stated, and I gave him a cheeky smile and reached for the blindfold.
I don't know what I had expected the surprise to be.
But I didn't expect it to be this.
My very own makeup salon has a stylish and modern decor, with multiple comfortable seating areas that invited clients to relax and enjoy the pampering experience. The elegant lighting and mirrors, surrounded by flattering soft lights, created a warm and inviting atmosphere.

My hands began to shake as I fiddled with the blindfold and cautiously took small steps into the building where Anastacia, Tali, and Hakeem stood with a smile on their face and their phones out recording. The kindness and generosity shown by Kairon left me deeply moved, and tears welled up in my eyes as I was overwhelmed with gratitude.
However, I couldn't help but feel sad as I wondered how I would ever be able to repay Kairon for all that he had done for me.
My trembling lips broke into a smile, and I walked over to Kairon, enveloping him in a warm embrace. He chuckled softly and planted a kiss on the top of my head, rocking me gently back and forth.
I then let go of him and wipe away my tears, listening to him as he speak, "Me watch yuh over the past months we've been together and see say you like being independent and having a job for yourself yuh zimmie. He lowered his head and tilted my chin, planting a kiss on my lip, "Me love yuh yer. And yuh supposed to know by now say me only want the best fi you and we ute."
I looped my hands around his neck and locked lips with him, kissing him with passion.
Hakeem exhaled audibly and spoke up saying, "If yuh did tell me say me a come a town fi watch blues, me woulda tell yuh say me know nuff website."
I pulled back, and stared at Hakeem dumbfounded, who is now doubled over with laughter. Kairon, Anastacia, and Tali joined in, and laughed loudly until they eventually stopped.
I shook my head at them, and Tali rushed over to me and pulled me into a warm embrace, "Bestie!"
I didn't have to look at Anastacia to see her reaction because the playful attitude in her voice said it all, "But a coulda wah dis."
