Approximately two weeks ago, Kairon informed me with a gleeful expression on his face, that he had recently done something for me and that he had no regrets about it.
From that day, he hadn't stopped speaking about it, clearly proud of his actions.
He has mentioned and bragged about it countless times over the past couple of weeks, expressing his excitement and anticipation for my reaction when I finally see what it is.
Now it's the day for him to show me what that thing is, and he woke me up this morning with a sense of urgency, telling me to get dressed and do a full glam makeup.
My heart fluttered out of my chest, and goosebumps washed over my skin because I know that he goes the extreme when he's gifting, and the fact that he was insistent on me dressing up only added to the suspense.
Following Kairon's instructions, I meticulously selected an outfit applied my makeup with care and installed my brand-new deep-wave lace wig. The anticipation was almost too much to bear, and I even recorded a TikTok before leaving my house to accompany Kairon on the road, because he stated that that's where the surprise is.
With Kairon holding onto my hand, I felt a sense of reassurance as I was unable to see because of the blindfold covering my eyes. I let out a nervous giggle as I adjusted the blindfold, which was slightly obstructing my lashes.
"Take five more steps and stop." He instructed, his voice filled with excitement. My heart began to race as I followed his directions, each step bringing me closer to the unknown. Upon reaching the designated stop point, Kairon told me to take one more step forward.
"Jeezas peas Kairon."
He chuckled and held unto my hand, "Ah just walk till me tell yuh stop."
I continued walking and seconds later he told me to stop.
